About Me.

Nomadic Tribe is a one‑woman creative studio led by me, Abby. A creative designer, strategist, and storyteller who’s been building brands since my days at the University of Creative Arts, where I landed my first graphic design client at just 17. I founded Nomadic Tribe with a simple belief: marketing shouldn’t be sterile or cookie‑cutter - it should feel as rich, complex, and alive as the people behind the brand. My career has taken me from freelancing for small businesses and artisan start‑ups to working with tourism boards across the UK and beyond.

I spent two years with the Kent tourism board, collaborating with over 60 hospitality and tourism businesses, whilst also working with the Hertfordshire tourism board, Visit Herts, supporting more than 40 partners across the county. My love for travel has shaped my work too, partnering with the Thailand and Vietnam tourism boards, and collaborating with Airbnbs and boutique hotels around the world to help them tell stories that inspire people to explore.

Founded in Canterbury but working globally, I’ve partnered with clients ranging from coastal guesthouses to county councils, heritage destinations to independent makers. The connecting thread? Every client is a brand that dares to be different. My approach blends heartfelt copywriting, creative media, and a deep love of culture, travel, and human storytelling. Because the best brands aren’t built in boardrooms, they’re shaped by curiosity, lived experience, and a genuine desire to connect.

Alongside digital marketing, social media management, website development, and branding, I also run Elm Tree Studio, where I create and sell hand‑carved chainsaw mushroom sculptures,  a reminder that creativity thrives both on‑screen and off. As a solo freelance creative, I bring warmth, clarity, and a collaborative spirit to every project, making me a partner who’s not just skilled, but genuinely great to work with.

Sarah E,
The Green Leaf Cafe
"I used to spend hours every week stressing about social media and still seeing terrible results. Now I don't think about it at all, and our engagement is 10x what it was. I can focus on my actual work while knowing our social presence is in expert hands."
David L,
Air-bnb Host
"We needed professional hotel photography that would compete with major chains. The images Nomadic Tribe captured are stunning - several guests have told us the photos are what convinced them to book. Our bookings are up 40% year-over-year."

OUR PHILOSOPHY

"We believe that the best brands aren't built in boardrooms. They're forged in the grit of the real world, shaped by culture, travel, and authentic human connection."

Our principles.

Capturing authentic moments:

whether it’s a brand shoot, a hidden café, or a fleeting sunset on my travels.

Turning ideas into stories:

through words, visuals, or campaigns that make people stop scrolling and start connecting.

Helping businesses shine online:

nothing makes me happier than seeing a client’s brand stand out and grow.

Exploring new places:

because every destination inspires fresh perspectives and creative sparks.

Blending creativity with strategy:

I love making content that’s not only beautiful but also delivers real results.
